HARNESSING YOUR POTENTIAL

I believe that every one has the ability of a leader. though, in the scale of 1 to 10, some may measure as much as 5, some 3, some 7, and you can still find those in the 10 scale, naturally, it is very difficult to get a youth in that kind of scale. Naturally you may find them around the scale of 5,6 or even 7. But this ability (potential) is like a buried treasure whose beauty is so great yet covered in the mud.

Very few (in my part of the world) are really interested in looking for it and if he ventures to pick himself up in search of his leadership potential, 85% will do it for their selfish interest.
This way you will never get to tap into the real thing because when you scratch the surface and see a little of leadership accolades, you get carried away... So therefore, it is due, that you look withing yourself and harness that God-given potency in you!

To activate is to set in motion. It is putting power into something in order to make it
work. It is starting something with aim of vigour and determination with the aim of
exploring its benefits.

* Keep learning - The move you learn, the better you will be. Learning will
expose you faster
* Develop your strongest area - Study yourself and concentrate on what you
enjoy doing best
* Be a reader - To read today is to be a leader tomorrow. The more you read,
the more opportunities you sill discover around you.
* Keep good company - The friends and association you know or belong to
determines how far you will go in life. Good company will help you realize
your dream and potential. But bad company will kill them.
* Ensure you are growing - Don’t be stagnant. Grow in grace, attitude and
the things of God.

* Have solid relationship with God - You cannot become anything or achieve
your dreams without God. Hold Him tightly and dearly. Be committed to
God and His work
* Have a focus - Life is about purpose and focus. Look straight and don’t be
carried away
